How old do I have to be to take out a policy?

You must be at least 21 years old at the date of rental. Similarly the maximum age is 84 at the date rental starts.

Which countries are covered by the European policy?

The European policy covers your home country and all countries in the continent of Europe to the West of the Ural Mountains, Madeira, Canary Islands, The Azores, Mediterranean Islands and Non-European countries bordering the Mediterranean (except Algeria, Israel, Lebanon and Libya). Voyager Car Hire Insurance also includes any rentals in your home country.

What is the maximum excess that can be reimbursed?

The maximum excess reimbursement is £12,500 with the Gold Level of Cover.

What is the maximum duration of cover?

Single-tripUp 90 days on a Silver policy and Up to 180 days on the Gold policy

Annual Multi-tripUp to 31 days per trip on the Silver policy and up to 62 days per trip on the Gold policy

How long do I have to make a claim?

Anything that may give rise to a claim should be given to the claims handling office in writing within 31 days of the end of the rental period. See your policy wording for details of the Claims company

I'm hiring an expensive car, will this be covered?

Unfortunately rental vehicles that have a retail purchase price in excess of £70,000 or vehicles that are over 10 years old are not covered by this policy
